CARBON FOOTPRINT STATEMENT
Commitment to Achieving Net-Zero
Leyden Delta is committed to achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, aligning with the NHS’s sustainability goals and the UK Government’s target of net-zero. This commitment extends to all operations and supply chain activities related to the delivery of pharmaceutical products and services.
Scope and Coverage
This Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP) applies specifically to Leyden Delta, which operates within the UK and supplies pharmaceutical products to the NHS. The emissions data, reduction targets, and strategies outlined in this document are focused solely on the activities of Leyden Delta.
Leyden Delta B.V., the Netherlands-based parent company, is not included in this CRP, except where its activities directly contribute to the emissions of Leyden Delta Limited under Scope 3 (e.g., supply chain emissions, transportation, or manufacturing processes that impact UK operations). Any such emissions will be assessed and reported as relevant to NHS procurement requirements.
Baseline Emissions Footprint
Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions.
Baseline Year: 2024
Additional Details relating to the Baseline Emissions calculations.
As this is the first time Leyden Delta has conducted a full emissions assessment, the baseline emissions figures provided for 2024 represent the initial measurement of our carbon footprint. There are no historic emissions records available.
Baseline Emissions:
